FAQ
Does HEIC to JPG conversion lose quality?
There's very minimal quality loss (JPG is inherently lossy), but it's nearly imperceptible visually. The converted JPG files are compatible with all devices.
Why can't I upload my HEIC image?
Make sure the file extension is .heic or .heif. In some cases iPhone photos have a .jpg extension but are actually HEIC format — try uploading directly.
Is it normal for the converted file to be larger?
Yes. HEIC has far better compression than JPG — HEIC files are typically 50% smaller than equivalent JPGs. So converting to JPG produces a larger file, which is normal.
