FAQ
Will image quality decrease after compression?
There will be slight quality loss, but at reasonable quality settings (80%+), the difference is nearly imperceptible to the human eye. Recommended: 70-80% for web display, 90%+ for printing.
Why is the compressed file sometimes larger?
If the original image is already highly optimized JPG, or if quality settings are too high, compression may not reduce size or even slightly increase it. Try lowering the quality parameter.
Is there a limit on batch compression?
No quantity limit, but processing too many images at once may cause browser lag since it's done locally. Recommend processing no more than 50 images at a time.
